League of California Cities Conference 2016 in Numbers [infographic]
For the second year in a row, members of the ViewPoint Cloud team attended the League of California Cities Annual Conference, hosted October 5-7th in sunny Long Beach, CA. They joined over 450 California cities and more than 1,600 municipal employees coming to learn about local government innovation.
The ViewPoint Cloud booth was buzzing. Increasing internal efficiency around permitting, licensing, and inspections was on everyone’s minds. As a result, we had insightful conversations with countless municipal leaders, all of whom wanted to see greater organizational efficiency and increased civic engagement.
LCC is an event we look forward to every year. As L. Dennis Michael (president of LCC and Mayor of Rancho Cucamonga) stated in his welcome message,
“… attending the Annual Conference represents an investment in your community and in yourself. You’ll work smarter and feel re-energized after hearing from leading experts, deepening your knowledge of emerging issues, and connecting with colleagues tackling similar challenges.”
This year’s conference – the League’s 118th – was once again the state’s largest gathering of local government officials, all of them committed to bettering California’s cities. It was a pleasure to share our solutions with attendees. We also gained more firsthand insight into what these communities need on the front lines, and our commitment to providing those solutions is unwavering.
